Pirofani of Piraeus
Our logo design for "Pirofani of Piraeus" emerged from a thoughtful deconstruction of two key elements that define the establishment's identity: the traditional fishing boat and the classic port lamp. The design process began with careful observation of authentic elements - from the iconic brass port lamps to the characteristic silhouette of Piraeus fishing vessels.
Through systematic simplification, we transformed these physical elements into graphic symbols. The port lamp was distilled into its essential form while maintaining its recognizable characteristics. Similarly, we created a minimalist silhouette of a traditional fishing boat, capturing its distinctive features in a clean, contemporary style.
The final logo represents the creative fusion of these two elements - the fishing boat silhouette seamlessly integrated with the port lamp, creating a unified symbol that tells the story of both the establishment's name and its maritime heritage. This combination results in a sophisticated mark that works effectively across various applications while maintaining its connection to Piraeus's seafaring tradition.
